【Philippines】
We're sure they don't exist,Philippines but we'd like to find a person who admits to being sick of looking at the Southern Lights.
The Aurora Australis, aka Southern Lights, appeared over parts of Australia and New Zealand around Monday, making quite the spectacle for photographers and stargazers alike.
SEE ALSO: I am so unreasonably jealous of this view of the southern lightsFor those who want to be right there in the sky, there's a special flight you can now take to see the aurora activity nice and close, if you got a few thousand bucks to blow.
As for the remainder of us mere mortals, we'll just have to look at photos of them. These below shots were taken on the Waitakere Ranges, just south of Auckland.

There was also cosmic activity along the southern coasts of Victoria, and in Tasmania too.
The Southern Lights are a result of charged particles from the sun slipping through Earth’s magnetic field and hitting neutrally charged particles in the atmosphere.
It's an interaction that makes the particles glow in very pretty colors.
